The Harvest is a third-person shooter with MOBA and Battle Royale elements. In each match, four teams of three heroes each compete to harvest essence, control respawn points, level up and be the last team standing. Before each match, players select their hero and equip it with eight hero cards. As they level up, players must choose four of the eight cards to be equipped, empowering their hero, adapting their playstyle to counter their opponents and building synergy with their team.

A Planet to Explore

Every hero arrives at the planet in a spaceship, and each team randomly starts in one of four different bases located at each corner of the map. Those heroes have been selected to be the chosen ones who travelled to the planet of O’Ree-Jin, and their goal now is to harvest as much essence as they can. As players gather essence, their team levels up. Each level comes with a decision — one of two cards will be displayed, and players must choose one to equip, and one to forfeit. As O'Ree-Jin realizes essence is being drained, it raises its defenses — a damaging ring that drives players towards the center of the map.

Core Gameplay

There are four teams with three players each. Each player represent a battle unit tasked with several missions:
  • Capturing neutral harvesting points after killing defending NPC’s
  • Defending captured harvesting point with allied NPC’s
  • Attacking enemy harvesting points
  • Defeating NPCs, earning essence and providing team power ups
  • Killing enemy players and reviving team players
If a player dies and isn't revived right away, they will later be able to respawn. However, as the ring closes, respawning will only be available if the player's team has a captured respawn or harvesting point in the safe zone. Therefore, teams are encouraged to capture and control respawn points towards the middle of the map, which is safer from the planet's defenses.
At the end of the match there are no more respawn points avaliable and last team standing defines the winning team.
